Ethiopian Civil Service college workers and students marked the national Flag Day on October 6, 2009.

The celebration was held in the premise of the college's main compass. Instructors, administration support staffs and students of the college have attended the event in live transmission from Addis Ababa Stadium.

Nationwide all Ethiopians participated in flag hoisting ceremony held at 10:30 a.m. Ato Tamirat Mota,staff member of the college, led the hoisting of the flag ceremony held at Ethiopian Civil Service College, and the attendants sang the National Anthem of Ethiopia in the occasion.

This years Flag day was marked under the theme: The national flag is the emblem of our democratic unity."
